Lantana Public Beach (Lantana Municipal Beach) The town's 8-acre beach has just under 800 feet of shoreline and features the legendary "Barefoot Mailman" history from the early pioneer days of The Palm Beaches. With crushed shell sand, this is an attractive beach where visitors can snorkel around rocks about 20 feet out to see beautiful tropical fish. Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, and building sandcastles.

Bicentennial Park (President Gerald R. Ford Lantana Bicentennial Park) This fine public park is at the tip of a little point reaching out into the Lake Worth Lagoon by the bridge and stands out most of all for its views, looking north up the lagoon for miles. It's a fun place on the water with swings and slides and fishing, with a nice park right in the heart of Lantana just before the bridge.

Lantana Nature Preserve Tucked among the resorts and condos on the barrier island, this pristine parcel features mangrove and coastal hammock with a densely shaded path and a stunning butterfly garden full of pollinator-friendly plants. Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area Almost 100 acres of scrubland and wetlands featuring two themed trails, an observation tower with panoramic views of the preserve and Lake Worth Lagoon. By the parking lot stands a 14-foot Barefoot Mailman statue by local sculptor Frank Varga.
